Everett Johnson II is a filmmaker from Durham, North Carolina. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Production from North Carolina A&T State University. He recently graduated from Full Sail University where he earned his Masters of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Full Sail University.
Everett is a visual storyteller who can create content for any type of programming from documentaries, short films, music videos, or commercial. He composites his shots to present a creative angle on a story. His passion for creating content has given him the opportunity to be heavily involved in three internships over the course of his collegiate career. The three internships were Greensboro Television Network, Indatainment, and Bright Girl Media. These internships helped him polish up on his camera skills, editing skills, and knowing how to meet deadlines under pressure. Greensboro Television Network is broadcasted through Time Warner Cable. He landed a gig on a web series called “Howton U”. Where he was involved in multiple rolls from production assistant to camera operator.
After graduating Cum Laude, he continued his journey down at Full Sail University where he challenged himself with different roles. While at Full Sail he directed “Monster”, “Music Matters”, and “Cold Heart.” For “Monster” he used a crew of five and shot beautiful images on the Canon 5D. He shot “The Guest”, “Three to the Dome”, and “Music Matters.” As a cinematographer “Music Matters” is a documentary film about the vital role music plays in people’s lives. Everett shot all three films with a Sony FS700.
